Day-1. WASHINGTON-SAN JOSE:
Flight to Costa Rica. Arrive in San Jose and transfer to your hotel. Join your Tour Director on a walking tour. See some of the main sites of Costa Rica's capital: Plaza de la Cultura, West Pavilion, Templo de la Musica and National Theater.

Day-2. POAS VOLCANO-ARENAL:
Full day excursion. Travel to Poas Volcano National Park to view one of the largest craters in the world and the surrounding forest. Later visit La Paz Waterfall Gardens with over 70 acres as well as the Butterfly Observatory, the Hummingbird Garden and the Waterfalls Gardens. After a break continue to Arenal for the night.

Day-3. ARENAL:
Visit the Arenal Volcano, the region's most active volcano. Walk along the slopes through the cloud forest with it's numerous plants and then to Lake Arenal, the largest inland body of water in Costa Rica. Later, stop in La Fortuna, a town in the shadow of the Volcano. Visit the Tabacon Hot Springs, formed by a hot avalanche deposit decades ago. Enjoy the natural water pool. Overnight in Arenal.

Day-4. MANUEL ANTONIO:
Travel south toward the Central Pacific Coast. En route make a few stops to observe some traditional Costa Rican villages before we reach Manuel Antonio and it's most beautiful beach.

Day-5: MANUEL ANTONIO:
Visit the Manuel Antonio National Park. This 682-hectare national park epitomizes everything tourists flock to Costa Rica to see: stunning beaches, a magnificent setting with islands offshore (bird sanctuaries for marine species), lush rain forest laced with a network of welcoming trails, wildlife galore, and all within walking distance of your hotel. You are guaranteed close-up encounters with monkeys, sloths, coatimundis, and scarlet macaws. Optional: The Canopy Tour.

Day-6. MANUEL ANTONIO-SAN JOSE:
Enjoy some free time in the morning before departing for a 3 hour ride to San Jose.

Day-7. DEPARTURE:
Transfer to the airport for return flight.
